Grand Challenges - have your say

This Dialogue is a conversation between government, industry, academia and the public, led by the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy. We are seeking a wide range of views on the four Grand Challenges set out in our modern Industrial Strategy - our long-term plan to ensure the UK remains one of the best places in the world to innovate, do business and create jobs.

Like our global partners, we know the world is changing fast. There are major global trends that are significant not just to our economy, markets and people, but for societies across the world, including:

  • Artificial Intelligence and Data
  • Ageing Society
  • Clean Growth
  • Future of Mobility

This Dialogue conversation is now closed.

Many thanks to everyone who submitted ideas to the Grand Challenges Dialogue.

We will now:

  • consider your suggestions to help develop our strategy and action plan for the future,
  • report back on ideas posted and action taken,
  • potentially contact individual users via email to discuss their ideas further.

This Dialogue is managed by the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, supported by the Department for Transport, the Department for Health and Social Care and the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport.
